This Matters

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that
matter." ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

This quote was posted by a reader of this blog on one of my previous posts. Sometimes a good quote puts into words what I am feeling or encourages me to press on. This quote does both.

I had been reading "The Hole in Our Gospel" and the author (who's President of World Vision) was referring to Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Letter from Birmingham Jail and the line about the "silence of our friends"... and when I read your post I went to look for the exact quote (even though it wasn't quite what I wanted to say)... and found this one, that God apparently meant for me to send you. :)
